General Summary
General repairs and preventative maintenance on trailers to maintain safety of fleet.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

1. Repair all trailers as needed.
2. Perform preventative maintenance services.
3. Mount and dismount tires.
4. Weld and fabricate trailers.
5. Perform major replacement of parts.
6. Complete special miscellaneous projects as needed.
7. Keep work area clean.

Working Conditions

• Environment - Diesel shop, odors and noises associated with diesel shop environment.
• Hours of work - Full-time hours on rotating 4 day schedule. Diesel shop operates six days a week.

Licensing

Employment/Selection Criteria

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. 2 year tractor/trailer experience or equivalent technical school training.
3. Technical school training in welding.
4. Related factory training courses.
5. Company provided bloodborne training.
